What exactly is a Founding Membership?
Founding Membership is the gateway into co-owning part of the Sussex 1,000-acre farm vision and receiving a full year of weekly food boxes worth £100/week, included for free when you join with the £5,000 founding payment. It also secures your right to choose one of the three membership tiers later.
What does the £5,000 payment cover?
Your £5,000 is fully credited toward your first year of weekly food boxes in 2026, worth £100/week for 50 weeks. No additional payments are required until you choose your tier.
What do I actually own as a Founding Member?
You hold a land ownership share in the Sussex farm (150m²–1,350m² depending on tier) through shares in our Sussex Holding Company, ensuring the land is protected from speculation and kept for food and ecology.
When do food deliveries start?
Founding Members receive one full year of weekly harvest boxes (worth £100/week), starting from our next major farming cycle in June 2026.
If you’d like to receive produce before June 2026, you absolutely can. You’ll have full access to our weekly farm shop and existing delivery service as soon as you join. This early food is optional and separate from your included year of harvest boxes, so you don’t “use up” any of your included food by starting earlier.
Do you deliver nationally?
Yes. My Little Farm delivers nationally via courier partners, using temperature-controlled packaging.
How many spaces are available?
There are 1,000 Founding Membership spaces for Sussex, each representing one of the 1,000 families whose food this farm will produce weekly.
What does my membership fund?
Your membership directly funds:
- Land acquisition (100+ acres per flagship)
- Farm infrastructure (roads, water, fencing, barns)
- Farming enterprises (vegetables, livestock, orchards)
- Hospitality & member facilities
- Community food access (20% donated)
Is the membership refundable?
Your £5,000 Founding Membership payment is not a refundable deposit. It is a pre-purchase of your first full year of food, worth £100/week and delivered nationally. This means your entire joining commitment is returned to you in the form of weekly harvest boxes, regardless of which membership tier you later choose.
If, when we reach the point of tier selection, you decide not to proceed with a higher tier (Good Life or Smallholder), you can simply remain on the Real Food tier and still receive your full year of food as planned.
There is no further financial commitment required beyond your initial payment unless you voluntarily choose an upgraded tier.
