Litha at My Little Farm

Saturday 20th June · 10am – 10pm My Little Farm, High View Farmstead, Streat, East Sussex

The summer solstice marks the height of the sun’s power and the longest days of the year. Over the weekend, we gather to celebrate with a bonfire, St. John’s Wort oil making, and flower crown weaving.

In the evening, we share a communal outdoor banquet, closing the night with a gratitude circle around the fire. It is a time to honour the abundance of summer and embrace the turning of the seasons.

What to expect

We'll light the Solstice fire and dance to live music. We'll weave headdresses and make masks by hand. We'll gather for a shared open-air lunch, plant with the MLF growers, learn a new smallholding skill, or breathe in a wellbeing workshop. As the sun lowers, we'll close with a fire ceremony under the evening sky.

Children are invited to dress up in their finest Green Man and Woman outfits. Grown ups too.

Bring: a blanket to sit on, a drum or instrument if you have one, and a heart ready for the growth and expansion of summer.

Camping

Campers are welcome to arrive any time from Friday 19th June and stay through the weekend.

Please leave your pitch clear by Sunday 21st June, midday.
