MY LITTLE FARM + CROPS NOT SHOPS

Legacy & Business Plan

Britain’s food system is broken, so we're fixing it. We are building the UK’s first member-owned food grid, ending supermarket dependency and reclaiming a trusted source of food as a birthright.

100 regenerative farms, 100,000 acres, feeding 100,000 families weekly by 2050. Community-owned, grounded in soil, powered by love.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A new way to feed the UK.

My Little Farm is building the UK’s first member-owned food network: a national grid of regenerative farms co-owned by the people who eat from them. We combine community capital, weekly food revenue, and de-centralised fulfilment to deliver nutrient-rich food at scale, without compromising quality.

Members join with a £100 annual subscription, access weekly food boxes grown to the highest regenerative standards, and can invest to become Founding Members to co-own the land and secure a food source for life.

Our Sussex pilot is the blueprint for a replicable, profitable network of farms across the UK, each run by professional salaried teams, supported by a central HQ for systems, technology, and storytelling.

Business Model Summary

01

Access — Community Membership (£100/year)

The on-ramp to the movement. Members join our online community, access discounts, receive weekly farm updates, and attend member-only events. Every membership signals demand by postcode, guiding where we launch the next farm.

02

Nourish — Monthly Harvest Credit (£300/month)

Our primary revenue engine and core product is the Monthly Harvest Credit. Instead of a traditional transactional model, members subscribe to a Stewardship Path, redirecting their existing grocery budget into a digital farm wallet.

This model shifts the relationship from a "store and customer" to a "farm and stakeholder." It provides the farm with predictable, upfront operating capital while granting the member "Harvest Interest" (a 10-20% bonus top-up) and absolute priority access to the food supply.

03

Own — Founding Membership (£10k–£50k)

The capital engine that unlocks new farms. Founding Members fund land acquisition and infrastructure and in return secure:

  • Co-ownership of farmland (150–1350m² per membership)
  • Guaranteed Smallholder Box allocation every week
  • Voting rights on farm decisions & development
  • Transferable, resellable membership with succession rights

Our Vision

A member-owned mosaic of thriving little farms.

Imagine a future where once barren mono-crop fields are reclaimed by local communities and transformed into thriving, abundant little farms.

Picture vibrant patches of diverse crops, pasture-raised animals, and forest gardens, all working in harmony with nature. These farms are more than just sources of food, they are hubs of community connection, where families come together to grow, harvest, and share in the bounty of the land. This is a future where the land is cared for by the people, providing regenerative, nutrient-dense food and restoring ecosystems for generations to come.

Members working the land

Our Mission

Reconnect people with the land. Produce nutrient-dense food. Regenerate the earth.

Our mission is straightforward yet impactful: to produce the most nutrient-dense foods using the highest standards of natural farming methods. We’re making smallholding ownership accessible to those who see the need for food sovereignty, while also creating life-changing opportunities for first-generation farmers. Join us in cultivating independence, prosperity, and a future where every farmer thrives and every community benefits.

Momentum & Trajectory

From a pilot to a national food grid.

We’ve proven the model with our East Sussex pilot — now we’re scaling to build a decentralised, member-owned food grid across the UK. Each new member signals demand, funds new farmland, and expands regenerative food capacity.

Our 2050 vision: 100,000 acres of co-owned farmland feeding 100,000 families weekly, with a resilient network of local farms, community hubs, and Sovereign Villages creating true food security for generations.

The Flywheel

Building the UK’s sovereign food grid.

This is our growth engine. Each new member accelerates land acquisition, scales regenerative food production, and expands the network. Our target: 100,000 acres of member-owned farmland by 2050.

01 — Join

£100/year signals demand by postcode, funds community growth, and guides where we build next.

02 — Subscribe

Weekly Smallholder Box becomes the core revenue engine, funding farmers, soil regeneration, and expansion.

03 — Invest

Founding Members fund land, infrastructure, and hospitality — increasing network capacity with each new site.

04 — Build

My Little Farm TopCo deploys capital, activates local farm teams, and launches with day-one customers.

05 — Scale

More land, more boxes, more members — accelerating toward a national grid of regenerative farms.

2050 Goal: 100,000 acres secured • 100,000 weekly boxes • UK-wide food sovereignty.

Sussex Pilot

Where our vision becomes reality.

This is where our vision has become a reality, showing how regenerative farming, community life, and land protection can work together in harmony.

Current Progress

  • LAND SECURED

15 acres secured in full ownership and protected for our members. We’ve also negotiated 100 acres of neighbouring farmland and are currently raising funds to complete these purchases.

  • CORE ENTERPRISES ESTABLISHED

Productive vegetable gardens, forest gardens, and heritage-breed hens, ducks, sheep, pigs, and cows already providing fresh, nutrient-dense food to our members.

  • INFRASTRUCTURE IN PLACE

We've installed polytunnels, poultry housing, fencing, and water systems designed for durability and long-term use. Our farm shop serves as a vibrant hub where members gather weekly to connect with each other and the food they consume.

  • COMMUNITY ACTIVE

More than 500 members have joined and we are now integrating weekly activities, seasonal events, and farm tours into the natural rhythm of the land.

Founding Member Financials

Transparent, member-first capital.

Our farms are funded entirely by members. Below is a clear view of our allocation and build budget, showing exactly how each membership helps secure land and bring a farm to life.

The Architecture of Ownership

To anchor one 1,000-acre Sovereign Village, we coordinate 1,000 Founding Memberships. This collective strength provides the capital to remove this land from the industrial cycle forever.

Founding Tier Allocation Commitment Tier Strength
Smallholder 100 £50,000 £5,000,000
Good Life 200 £25,000 £5,000,000
Real Food 700 £10,000 £7,000,000
The Endowment Total 1,000 £17,000,000

The Four Pillars of the Sanctuary

Your membership capital is deployed into four strategic pillars to ensure the land is secure, productive, and incorruptible from day one.

Pillar What it Builds Allocation
Land Endowment Acquisition of land estate & permanent asset-lock legal trust. £9,000,000
Infrastructure Off-grid energy, water security, roads, & member sanctuaries. £2,650,000
Farming Engine Regenerative equipment, livestock, & Year 1 Harvest Credits. £2,850,000
Strategic Shield Project delivery, legal defense, & working capital reserve. £2,500,000
Total Sanctuary Capital £17,000,000

The Resilience Dividend (Annual Surplus)

At maturity, the farm generates ~£2.9M in annual surplus. Unlike industrial models, this "Profit" is recycled back into the community as a Resilience Dividend.

The Reinvestment Cycle Purpose Allocation
Ecological Endowment 100-year soil health, forestry & rewilding projects. 30%
Real Education Apprenticeships & intergenerational skill sharing. 30%
Strategic Shield Legal defense fund & asset protection. 15%
Future Seed Capital for acquiring the next 500-1000 acres. 15%
Member Credits Reinvested back into founding member food pantry. 10%

Crops Not Shops

Every farm funds food justice.

We hard-code impact into operations: 20% of weekly output is allocated to families in need, and for every five paid Founding Memberships, we gift one full membership. As the network scales, so does access: by 2035, we target 20,000 families with reliable, dignified food sovereignty nationwide.

  • Rule: 1 gifted per 5 paid memberships
  • Transparent queuing with partner-verified eligibility
  • Annual revalidation with opt-up to paid tiers when circumstances improve

03 — Capability

The Farm School delivers skills for self-reliance: soil care, cooking & preservation, animal husbandry, seasonal budgeting, and cooperative leadership, with train-the-trainer routes.

  • 24 skill-days/yr · 4 seasonal intensives
  • 200+ learner places per site at maturity
  • Volunteer & apprenticeships into paid roles

Governance

  • Site-level Impact Committee incl. CNS partner
  • Safeguarding & data privacy by design
  • Budget ring-fence: 20% output + modest ops budget

Transparency

  • Public dashboard (impact.mylittlefarm.co.uk)
  • Annual independent review of allocations

Note: Impact costs are priced into our model via Access Memberships, procurement leverage, and operating efficiency—keeping the program durable through cycles without compromising farm viability.

How impact scales with the network

Per site at maturity ~200 boxes/week 20% of ~1,000 weekly box capacity
100 sites (2035) ~20,000 boxes/week ≈ 1+ million meals/month
Gifted memberships 1,000+ / yr At 5:1 paid:gift ratio, rising with growth

We design for dignity first: predictable access, choice within seasonal reality, and a clear path from emergency support to co-ownership and food sovereignty. Crops Not Shops is how My Little Farm ensures growth increases inclusion.

A Blueprint For An Ancient Future

The vision beyond the farm.

Building community farms is just the beginning. Our long-term mission is for our farms to evolve into Sovereign Villages, regenerative farm-based communities where food, nature, and people live in harmony.

A New Way of Living

Low-impact homes nestled in nature. A place where families live with deep connection to their food, land, and community.

Rooted in Regeneration

1,000+ acres of regenerative farming, heritage breeds, nutrient-dense produce, and soil-first methods.

Founding Member Priority

As a Founding Member, you receive first access to homes and investment opportunities within the Sovereign Village you helped seed.

This isn’t just about food. It’s about freedom, future-proof living, and a legacy of belonging — one rooted in the land and built for generations.

Sovereign Villages

Economics without speculation.

Our housing model removes land speculation: land is held in trust, homes are built and sold (or leased) at cost-plus-transparency, and long-term stewardship is funded by predictable, low monthly charges. This keeps housing attainable, accelerates migration into our Founding Membership tiers, and compounds the value of the food grid.

Land held in trust

No speculative uplift. Ground leases protect use, ecology, and inter-generational affordability.

Costed delivery

Homes delivered at cost (with audited line items). Members see exactly where every pound goes.

Fair recurring model

Light ground rent + services charges fund stewardship, farm access, education & amenities.

How this boosts Founding Membership demand

  • Priority access to homes for Smallholder & Good Life members.
  • Lower delivered housing cost (no land spec) → larger, more stable waitlist.
  • Transparent pricing (cost books open) builds trust and accelerates uptake.
  • Place-based benefits: box priority, shop credit, hospitality discounts, education access.

Scale scenarios (illustrative)

Metric Per Village 10 Villages
Homes delivered (at cost) 300 3,000
Stewardship & services (annual) £0.90m £9.00m
Incremental box subscribers ~500–1,000 ~5,000–10,000
Onsite shop & hospitality uplift £0.5m–£1.0m £5m–£10m

Village residents materially increase local, predictable demand for food, events, and education.

Key principle: keep land out of speculation to hold down housing cost. Value accrues in membership, food sovereignty, and village amenity quality — not in flipping land. This widens the funnel and strengthens the grid.

Funding Required

£5m TopCo tranche to complete Sussex and launch the UK grid.

We’ve moved from idea to proof. 250+ Founding Members have already contributed over £800,000, validating demand for a member-owned, regenerative food model. The next unlock is completing the 100+ acre flagship estate in Sussex and capitalising the national TopCo playbook (membership, logistics, procurement, brand) so we can replicate the model across the UK.

CAPITAL NEEDED:£5,000,000

Ask

Single-Investor Founding Membership Tranche (25% Discount)

We are offering one aligned investor the opportunity to purchase a block of 100+ Founding Membership spaces in a single tranche at a 25% discount, raising £5m immediately at TopCo level.

TopCo deploys this capital to: (1) bring the Sussex flagship fully online, and (2) roll out the national replication stack that enables regional rollout.

The return is simple and member-funded: as new Founding Members join at full price, their receipts are allocated to repay the tranche first until the investor’s capital is fully returned with an agreed premium.
